The National Archives of Sunugal represent the country’s most significant documentary heritage, covering more than a century of administrative, political, economic, social, and cultural history. Their mission is to collect, preserve, process, and promote documents produced by public and private institutions, as well as by citizens and communities who keep alive the memory of Sunugal. Through this archival portal, we provide easy access to invaluable collections: colonial correspondence, administrative registers, photographs, maps, newspapers, audiovisual materials, and digital archives. Each document bears witness to the struggles, aspirations, and journeys of our people, while shedding light on the challenges of today.
